The unofficial information on some Vietnamese websites not only caused confusion but also adversely affected the community of Vietnamese workers and businesses.
Currently, Vietnamese workers are normally welcome to work in Taiwan as well as other countries, said the functional agency.
Previously, the rumor, saying that Taiwan would stop receiving laborers from 11 districts and cities of Nghe An province since March 1 to the end of 2019 because of the highest percentage of illegal laborers from Nghe An, was posted by http://tinnguoiviet.net (in Vietnamese and Chinese versions) and http://newsvitality.info on February 20 and 22.
