Japan Alumni of Vietnam (JAV), Japanese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) in Ho Chi Minh City co- organized the 2015 Japan Educational Seminar in Hanoi and HCMC from October 31 to November 1.

The seminar aims to supply information about nearly 100 prestigious Japanese universities to Vietnamese students.
According to Prof. Ngo Minh Thuy, Vice Principal of Foreign Languages University and Chairman of Japan Alumni of Vietnam, the number of Vietnamese students in Japan has increased more and more. In 2014, around 14, 726 Vietnamese students registered to study in Japan. As result, both Vietnam and Japan hoped that the number of Vietnamese students in Japan will continue to increase further in the years ahead.
Mrs. Tran Huong Ly, a representative of Department of International Cooperation said that the number of Vietnamese students can speak Japanese language, and Vietnamese oversea students in Japan have reached at 33, 000 people.
In HCMC, the seminar takes place at Equatorial Hotel in district 5 on Sunday.
