Tanizaki Yasuaki, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, and Pham Vu Luan, Vietnam’s Minister of Education and Training, sighed an agreement on July 18 in Hanoi, to improve Human Resource Training in Vietnam.
Accordingly, Japan will provide JPY324 million in non-refundable aid for the Human Resource Development Scholarship Program in the academic year 2013-2014 and also subsequent years in Vietnam.
The Human Resource Development Scholarship Program has been running in Vietnam since 2000. Up till now, a total of 364 fellowships have been sent to Japan at an expense of JPY5 billion.
