The Ministry of Education and Training will hold a ceremony to honor students who won medals at the Asian and International Olympiad in 2013 as well as students who made the cut into university entrance exams with highest qualifying scores.

Gold medalist Ngo Phi Long, a 12th grade student from the northern mountainous province of Son La, who won at the International Physics Olympiad in Denmark in July, will be given the Third Class Labor Medal for his excellent achievements in the last two years.

Participating five times in the Asian and International Physics Olympiad, he brought the country two gold and three silver medals.

In addition, certificates of merits signed by the Prime Minister and Education Minister will be given to students who passed the national university entrance examinations with highest qualifying scores.
