The annual conference ‘Vietnam Information Security Day’ has been warmly welcomed by both the information technology community and state agencies, the local authorities, businesses, universities in the field.
This year’s conference is themed ‘Enhancing national cybersecurity in the digital era’. A series of events about information security will be held in both the North and South regions, with the major ones in Hanoi and HCMC.
In this conference, VNISA is going to announce its investigation report on the national information security status, especially the Southern region, and the national information security rating.
Meetings in this event will focus on exchanging experience and knowledge about state-of-the-art technologies in the field as well as analyses on current malware types, popular infection methods, attack motives, and practical demands for suitable solutions making use of artificial intelligence. Visions and policies of state agencies about ensuring cyber security in Vietnam will also be discussed thoroughly.
The ‘Vietnam Information Security Day 2019’ will begin with the contest ‘Students with Information Security’ for university and college students nationwide. The preliminary round was already held on November 3, 2019 in Hanoi, Da Nang City, and HCMC to choose 10 best teams for the upcoming final round.
