They poured to Nguyen Hue Walking Street where the New Year’s Countdown LIGHTS 2018 fesival was organized to mark the new year with eye-catching light festival and musical performance.
International and local artists namely Apl De Ap, a member of Black Eyed Peas, Thanh Bui, Phuong Vy, Lan Nha, Ai Phuong, Hong Quang, Hoang Quyen, Kieu Anh, Bich Ngoc, Vietnam talent idol 2016 Trong Nhân, and kids of Wonderkids program, the Lyricist, the Young Lyricist were present at the program.
Additionally, the artisitc light performance in the house of People’s Committee attracted crowds of people. Major streets in the city’s metropolitan areas such as Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Nguyen Van Troi, Ham Nghi, Dong Khoi, Le Loi, Le Duan, Pham Ngoc Thach, Ton Duc Thang, Vo Van Kiet, Truong Dinh, Nguyen Hue are being decorated with fixtures of colorful lights.
A wide range of activities of musical performances were hosted in Gia Dinh Park, colleges, dorms for students, industrial and export processing zones in districts and high-range shows and several low-range displays fireworks were organized in the District 2 near Thu Thiem Tunnel, Dam Sen Park in District 11, Cu Chi Tunnels in the namesake outlying district, and Rung Sac Square in Can Gio District.
