Accordingly, the budget will be provided for the city's road maintenance fund this year.

Besides that, the HCMC People’s Committee assigned the city's road maintenance fund to organize a meeting of the Asset Management Council to propose handling of VND 52.5 billion (around US$ 2.2 million), which had not been yet used up last year from the state budget allocated by the Central Road Maintenance Fund, not having been contributed to the city budget based on State Treasury of the city.

On this basic, the Municipal Department of Finance will receive a report to submit to the HCMC People’s Committee.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also required additional budget estimates, submitting to the Asset Management Council for approval and the Department of Finance for appraisement before the city People’s Committee approved the additional estimates for the projects of 2015, 2016, 2017 and new works in 2019.

On the other hand, the functional agencies need to clarify the causes, responsibilities and proposing measures for transition projects, which settle financial balance tardily and not follow the plan.
