HCMC Children’s Hospital officially put into operation

The Ho Chi Minh City Children’s Hospital was officially put into operation on January 16th.

The Ho Chi Minh City Children’s Hospital was officially put into operation on January 16th.

The hospital was built on 12.47 hectares of land at No. 15 the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway in Binh Chanh district.

The construction was equipped 1,000 beds for patient and medical intensive techniques with its total investment capital of VND 4,500 billion, aiming to reduce the current overloading in pediatric hospitals citywide and create favorable condition in taking care of patients living the city's neighboring provinces.

The HCMC children’s hospital is considered as one of major healthy projects of the city as well as the country.

Director of the HCMC Children’s Hospital Dr. Truong Quang Dinh said that the hospital included doctors and experts from HCMC Children Hospital No.1 & No.1.

Additionally, it also received intensive support from the Ho Chi Minh City Eye Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital, Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology in Ho Chi Minh City, Oncology Hospital, Trauma-Orthopedics Hospital etc etc…
