Hanoi takes pre-emptive measures to prevent infectious diseases during Tet

The Health Department in Hanoi has ordered medical clinics to monitor the quality of food items in crowded locations across the city such as bus, ferry stations and entertainment areas, in order to prevent any infectious diseases during Tet Lunar New Year.

The Health Department in Hanoi has ordered medical clinics to monitor the quality of food items in crowded locations across the city such as bus, ferry stations and entertainment areas, in order to prevent any infectious diseases during Tet Lunar New Year.

Hospitals too have been asked to stock enough medicines and necessary equipment for treating patients. Health units have been asked to check foodstuffs such as processed foods, confectionaries, and bottled beverages in all the festive locations.

Staff in medical clinics has been asked to keep alert and take preventive measures against infectious diseases and food poisoning cases during Tet Lunar New Year holidays.
