Fruit businessman builds kindergarten in hometown

A fruit businessman named Le Van Hung invested around VND50 billion (US$2.3 million) to build a kindergarten in An Huu Commune of Cai Be District in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang, which was inaugurated on August 12.

The Phan Trong Tue kindergarten covers an area of more than 5,200 square meters and has 40 class rooms, a large hall and facilities such as a music room, a computer room, a fine arts room, and an infirmary.

The kindergarten has capacity for about 600 students and will be ready to operate during the school year 2012-2013.

Le Van Thuan, deputy chairman of the People’s Committee of Cai Be District, honored the businessman for his contribution in building a pre-school for local children.
