A sixteen-seat van caught fire while running in Ho Chi Minh City Tuesday and was destroyed but the driver was not hurt.
The van was running from the city towards the Mekong Delta then was found on fire at 10:30 AM on National Highway 1A in Binh Tan District. A blast was heard from the back.

Seeing the incident, the locals used things around to break the door glass to get driver Luu Trong Nghia, 42, out of the van. No passengers were seen in the car, which carried coconut candies and candy strings. All the goods were destroyed.
