Exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh takes place in France

A document-based exhibition titled “Ho Chi Minh- People for peace, and a preeminent cultural celebrity” was held in Paris capital, France yesterday.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and Vietnam Embassy in France co-held the event. 

The exhibition is to mark the 30 years since the UNESCO had approved the resolution about the 100th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh. 

Speaking at the ceremony, General Director of UNESCO Irina Bokova expressed her deep attachment to the country and Vietnamese people and the respect for President Ho Chi Minh. 

UNESCO and Vietnam have built a good and reliable relationships. With pride of magnanimous history, Vietnam will continue promoting that tradition, added Irina Bokova.

The exhibition also is chance for French people to review events relating to President Ho Chi Minh.

On the occasion, two poems of President Ho Chi Minh were set to music by French composer Louis Durey that singer Mathieu Lécroart performed at the exhibition.
