During the country’s revolution, ethnic minority people were faithful to the Communist Party and Uncle Ho, devoting their children and property in the fight for the national resistance.
Headded that the party and the government have adopted many policies for socio-economic development in poor districts; however, because of harsh natural conditions, these districts’ socio-economy is not much improved; locals are still facing difficulties in life.
Accordingly, he hoped that meeting participants to continue their solidarity spirit for the country’s growth.
Moreover, they should coordinate with local administrations in districts where most residents are ethnic minority people to push up the economic development sustainably.
Especially, they should take heed to fight against poverty in distant areas to narrow the rich-and-poor gap between urban and rural areas, particularly for mountainous and remote areas.
