Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc lauded the Hue Medicine University’s achievements in training and scientific researches during his visits, on April 13.
Hue Medicine University has trained more than 9, 700 students so far and it has 450-bed hospital. The university has provided training to many medical workers who serve in remote areas across over the country.
Deputy PM Phuc proposed the university focusing on teaching quality to deserve the Labor Hero title. The school should approach to advanced scientific progresses in the world; combine training & scientific researches and connect training and real need.
Phuc hoped university managers to work out a large-scale development strategy to turn the school into an exemplary model for the central region and the country.
On the occasion, Deputy PM Phuc visited the Hue Central Hospital, Palace of Supreme Harmony, Great Enclosure, The To Pagoda. He appraised the local and residents in Thua Thien-Hue Province for their efforts in preserving historic sites and cultural values.
