Diamond Place, a brand new private venue with distinctive characters for conventions and wedding, made its grand opening in Ho Chi Minh City Thursday with a total ballroom space enough for 2,000 guests.
Located at 15A Ho Van Hue Street, Phu Nhuan District, Diamond Place is within 10 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
Speaking at a press conference for the grand opening, Diamond Place general director Do Thanh Binh said more than VND50 billion (over US$2.5 million) has been invested into the center.
He added that part of Diamond Place personnel had worked at five-star hotels in the city such as Sheraton, and recognized restaurants in town.
The center houses five ballrooms with a total space of almost 2,600 square meters, able to accommodate 2,000 guests at the same time. The pillar-less ballrooms are designed to European standards, with high ceilings, grand space and can be separated or combined to ensure flexibility for different types of event.
According to general director Binh, the owner has invested in the design of soundproof ballrooms and conference rooms, updated state-of-the-art equipment and audiovisual systems, and keeps improving services to be a long-term strategic partner for businesses in the country.
Diamond Place is offering promotions for both conventions and wedding ceremonies during its launch time. A special offer for new couples is diamond for their wedding, and the first 100 weddings booked will get vouchers worth up to VND15 million depending on packages.
