At the meeting, Deputy Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hong expressed her pleasure to see good multi-field corporative relations between the two countries in general and between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok in particular since Vietnam and Thailand raised relations to a strategic partnership on June, 2013.

Deputy Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hong appreciated trade and investment activities of Thai enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City in previous times such as annual high-quality Thai goods fair has been organized in HCMC; tourism coordination organization between Mekong sub-region countries.

Besides, Deputy Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hong also appreciated initiatives of Royal Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City through organizing cycling tours from HCMC to Bangkok. The tours target to strengthen trade and tourism exchange between the two countries.
