The Women Union in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday said that the union has so far helped over 85,000 women to have a job.
The union yesterday reviewed the project to assist women in vocational training and offering jobs to women for the period 2010-2015. The union also organized a festival themed Creative Women 2015 to display unique and creative products made by women.
With the aim of reducing poverty sustainably, in 5 past years, the union has formed groups of women to provide vocational training and offer jobs to them. The center to introduce jobs under the union liaised with vocational training facilities to train and give jobs to women.
In addition, districts have set up groups to offer jobs to female after graduating from vocational training.
