Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO), Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association and Ho Chi Minh City celebrated the 55th anniversary ceremony of National Day of Cuba ( 1st January of 1959 – 1st January of 2014 ) on the morning of December 30.
Mr. Phung Cong Dung, Vice Chairman, Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations highly appreciated fighting spirit and victories of the Cuban people against wars.
In the past 55 years, the Cuban people overcame difficulties as well as challenges and took great remarkable achievements in construction and defense of the homeland under the leaderships of the Communist Party and the State.
Mr. Bernabe Garcia Valido, Cuban Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City confirmed Cuba and Vietnam have maintained and developed a strong relationship.
