Ho Chi Minh City Committee of HCM City Communist Youth Union has lunched a campaign to select role models, who are under 30 years-old, and reside and work in the HCM City, to hold up as examples for all Vietnam.
Nominated individuals have shown initiative, taken pride in their work, demonstrated virtue, led by example and have courageously striven to improve their lives.
Nominees also need to have contributed to the development of the city in particular and Vietnam in general.
Specially, nominated role models have been recognized and granted the title “Excellent citizens who follow Uncle’s Ho’s shinning example in study and work.”
The organization will receive nominations from now until September 15 and will make their selections by November 15.
A meeting to honor young role model citizens will take place January 1, 2011.
