The gala was held by the Vietnam Television (VTV) and the military-run telecommunications group Viettel in response to the Action Month for Children with the participation of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, leaders of departments , medical workers and benefactors.
Also on the occasion, the program “Heart for kids” along with the National Humanitarian Portal 1400 and the Vietnam Red Cross Societies launched the text message campaign to support poor children with heart diseases.
During the campaign taking place from now till July 13, every text message with the content ‘TTCE’ sent to ‘1409’ will be equal to a donation of VND18,000 for needy ill children.
