The campaign aims to call for long-term sponsorship for 238 families who have been bringing up over 3,000 underprivileged children at 17 SOS villages in 17 provinces and cities nationwide.
Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha said at the launching ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City that the campaign was expected to attract many sponsors.
“Even 10,000 VND donations could be small amount of money for many people, but it would help change the life and future of these children,” Ha added.
This year marked the fourth edition of the campaign. Donations should be made via the website sosvietnam.org/lo-dung-tinh-thuong or hotline 0989.73 77 33 or (028) 38 227 227 until December 31.
