The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange recently put Da Nang Construction Building Materials & Cement Joint Stock Company (DXV) into warning status as the company’s post-tax profit after retroaction is a minus number and accumulated loss by December 31, 2012 was VND17.4 billion. This year, the company set revenue target of VND660 billion, and post-tax profit of VND5.4 billion.
The Hanoi Stock Exchange has put Golden Bridge Vietnam Securities JSC (GBS) and Chi Linh Building Materials and House Development JSC (MCL) into warning status for continuous violation in information disclosure. Currently, GBS and MCL are only allowed to trade on Fridays and if two companies fail to solve the problem by July 31, their trading will be suspended.
Hoa Binh Rubber JSC (HRC) announced that the company’s revenue in the first six months of this year was estimated at VND224.1 billion and pre-tax profit at VND31.7 billion, accounting for 50.2 percent and 37.3 percent of this year’s plan, respectively. In the third quarter of this year, the company looks for revenue of VND83.1 billion and pre-tax profit of VND17 billion.
Nam Mu Hydropower Joint Stock Company (HJS) announced its business result in the first half of this year with production value at VND69.7 billion and profit at VND12.1 billion, accounting for 44 percent and 48 percent of the plan, respectively. In the last six months of this year, the company set production value of VND90.3 billion, and profit of VND12.9 billion, of which the company will make a profit of VND8.8 billion in the third quarter.
Da Nang Rubber JSC (DRC) announced that the plan to move its tire plant from Bac My An to Lien Chieu Industrial Park will be finished in June 2014, much later than earlier scheduled for end of this year. Earlier, the company inaugurated Radial Tyre Plant with a capacity to produce 600,000 tyres annually in Lien Chieu Industrial Park. In the first quarter of this year, the company saw revenue of VND608.02 billion, and profit of VND78.2 billion
Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company (PHR) announced that the company reached revenue of VND641.1 billion and profit of VND170 billion in the first six months of this year. The company saw a drop of 35.5 percent in profit compared to the same period last year as the price of rubber continuously fell.
