Bus stations experience influx of passengers after Tet holiday

More than 800,000 passengers returned to the city after Tet holidays through various bus stations on February 10.

The Eastern Bus Station and the Western Bus Station both experienced about 240,000 passengers. An Suong and Nga Tu Ga Bus Stations also experienced a large amount of passengers returning to the city after holidays.

Traffic of roads leading to the city from rural areas decreased 5-7 percent compared to the same period last year.

The Saigon Railway Passenger Transport Company announced there are about 15,000 to 16,000 train passengers traveling from the provinces to the city every day.
