Bali volcano: VNAT issues travel warning

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has issued a travel warning to ask travel companies, departments of culture, sport and tourism of cities and provinces nationwide to ensure the safety for tourists when visiting Indonesia’s Bali due to volcanic eruption.

According to the advisory, travel businesses have to take their visitors to get out of the crater. Tourist operators must eye on updated information relating to volcanic activity of Mount Agung to cancel planned trips, change their travel dates or switch to other destinations.

The volcanic alert level on the Indonesian island of Bali has been raised to the maximum, level four, as Mount Agung appears to be on the point of a major eruption.
