Scholarship recipients are twelfth graders who are going to take graduation test; each received cash worth VND1 million ($42.7).

Also at the scholarship-giving ceremony, the Association received VND1.9 billion from 35 organizations and individuals to support its fund.
On behalf of the government in Can Tho, Deputy Chairwoman of Can Tho People’s Committee Vo Thi Hong Anh praised organizations and Individuals that contributed to the Association’s fund to assist needy student in the pursuit of learning.
For years, thanks to the support of society, the rate of drop-outs reduced by 0.4 percent in the school year 2017 - 2018. However, still many students at risk of dropping school need a helping hand.
