The meeting on standards for goods sold in international distribution and import systems of Thailand was held by the Investment & Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of more than 120 enterprises.
Speaking at the event, several businesses shared their experiences on how to enter into the Thai market. Enterprises must meet strict regulations from legal framework of the Thai government and different rules of distributors as well as keep these requirements during the period for providing.
Additionally, companies must increase their production and continuous modernization to reduce costs and offer competitive prices.
According to the Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), the center has organized many activities to support local enterprises to approach modern distribution channels, meet strict requirements and introduce their products to consumers in different countries.
The annual “Week of Vietnamese Goods in Thailand” aims to help Vietnamese firms to learn about the market and the demand of consumers in Thailand, promote their products and look for export opportunities to Thai market.
