Located in an area of 23 hectares, VinUni includes the main building, student dormitories, a sports complex and technical and support areas.
Deputy Director of Conglomerate Vingroup Ms. Le Mai Lan said that VinUni will be the first non-profit private higher education institution that meets international design standards.
It will focus on business, technology and health science to provide the country’s skilled workforce.
It is designed with 10-storey main building and a 108 meter tower. Moreover, the dormitory was built in the area of nearly 10,600 square meter with canteen, medical room, convenience stores and entertainment areas.
4,400 square meter sport complex and outdoor stadium include swimming pool, playground, gym room. Before, VinUni had signed cooperation contracts with the United States’ Cornell University and University of Pennsylvania.
Deputy Education Minister Le Hai An said that VinUni will cooperate with the US and developed countries to build an internationally standard higher education institution which is expected to contribute greatly to the country’s education sector.
Mr. An added the school should work with international education assessment organizations to recognize the training quality and connect with enterprises to train students who can meet requirements after graduating.
