As per the plan for 2016, the power price will inch up VND21.4 per kWh to VND1,651.2 per kWh on average, the state-run Electricity of Vietnam Group (EVN) said.
The electricity price is adjusted to partially offset its input cost surges such as increased quantity of commercial power and changes in power load. Yet EVN has not proposed an increase in power price for 2016.
