The program asked utilization of the state budget effectively for developing the education sector.
The state budget should be used for major public facilities and more investment in schools especially in disadvantaged districts, in districts most indigenous ethnic people live, in mountainous districts, islands and border crossings.
Additionally, the program highlighted a new tuition fee policy to ensure that learners, social contributors share with the government’s budget.
The program also says it will promote the implementation of the market mechanism under the government’s control for services in public sectors such as healthcare, higher education, vocational training as per the road map of the program.
