Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum (VSBF) was officially opened in HCMC on June 4, with participation of 250 representatives from ministries, trade and investment promotion agencies, local provinces and leading companies from Viet Nam and Singapore.
At the ceremony, Mr. Doan Duy Khuong, Vice President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) emphasized that Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum the annual event aims to deepen cooperation relations in various fields between Vietnam and Singapore.
The 2014 VSBF will continue to create favorable investment conditions in order to connect two countries’ enterprises as well as provide a good platform to explore new opportunities in the context of moving towards the ASEAN Economic Community by 2015 and the strategic partnership agreement, added the Vice President.
Mr. Tan Soon Kim, Director for Southeast Asia Group, hoped that the bilateral relations between Singapore and Vietnam would promote the cooperation relationship between the two countries.
The 2014 Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum was chaired by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam, Singapore Embassy in Vietnam, Trade Union in Singapore and Association of Singapore enterprises in Vietnam.
The forum focuses on the sector of financial cooperation services, tourism, tourist hotel, manufacture, real estate investment and others.
In this year forum organizers designed an exhibition for enterprises to introduce their products and services.
Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum is a playground for domestic and Singapore enterprises to learn about economic information sources as well as investment environments. It was established in 2005 to develop trade relations and connect enterprises between the two countries.
The event is being held at Duxton Hotel in HCMC from June 4-6
