An organization to protect authors’ interests and ensure copyright was established in Hanoi on May 21.
The Vietnam Reproduction Rights Organization (VIETRRO) is jointly found by the Vietnam’s Writer Association and other associations of Intellectual Properties.
On behalf of authors, the VIETRRO will manage the copy and digitization of members’ works, help people approach and use works legally and protect interests of their members at home and abroad.
Professor Ho Ngoc Dai, director of the Institute of Educational Technology, was elected the chairman of the executive board including 19 members of the organization in 2010-2015 period.
