VEC served a warning on four teams including management boards of contractors’ joint ventures in bid packages no.4 and no.6, the management board of Da Nang-Quang Ngai Expressway project and the management board for the expressway’s exploitation.
In addition, VEC suspended the director of the expressway management board and warned five individuals including managing directors of contractors’ joint ventures in bid package no.4 and no.6, two officials in charge of construction at the two packages, deputy director cum operation and maintenance team leader under the expressway’s management board.
VEC said that damage in the expressway has been repaired and toll collection has been resumed. So far some items of the project have not been built because of site clearance.
