Trans-Mekong Delta bike tour attracts 200 participants

Nearly 200 domestic and international youth from universities across the country are participating in the Trans-Mekong Delta bike tour that kicked off on July 12.

Nearly 200 domestic and international youth from universities across the country are participating in the Trans-Mekong Delta bike tour that kicked off on July 12.

The bike tour has been jointly organized by Vietnam Association of Sponsors for the Disabled and Orphans, Tri Viet-First News Company and Tuong Lai Xanh Organization for Social Activities.

During the 37-day tour, volunteers will ride 1,100km through Can Tho City and provinces such as Long An, Dong Thap, An Giang, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Ben Tre and Tien Giang.

Organizers will hold social activities for children and local people during their stopover at every place.

The tour will finish on August 17.
