
The gifts were funded by KFHI Vietnam, a non-profit organisation based in the Republic of Korea.
In 2017, KFHI conducted numerous charity activities in the province at a total cost of more than VND2.3 billion ($101,000 ). It will give 300 more Tet gifts to needy children in the locality, worth over VND114 million ($5,000 ).
The same day, a unit under the Hanoi Red Cross Society held a ceremony to hand over nine charity houses and 200 Tet gifts to poor households and Agent Orange (AO)/Dioxin victims in six communes of Lap Thach district.
