Tan Cang-Cai Cui seaport opened for service in Can Tho

Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) hosted a ceremony to open the first phase of Tan Cang-Cai Cui seaport for service in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on December 6.

Deputy director of the corporation Ngo Quang Chung said that the port has the total area of over seven hectares with two warehouses covering 6,000 square meters.
 
With 180m long wharf and 8.5 meter waterline, the port can receive vessels of 20,000 tons. It is the first container port equipped with modern facilities to unload and load both container and bulk cargo.
 
Since early this year, SNP has invested in, managed and exploited eight inland ports and logistics establishments in the Mekong Delta including Tan Cang-Cao Lanh, Tan Cang-Sa Dec in Dong Thap province, Tan Cang-My Thoi  in An Giang, Tan Cang-Giao Long in Ben Tre, Tan Cang-Thot Not, Tan Cang-Tra Noc and Tan Cang-Cai Cui in Can Tho.
