President Truong Tan Sang granted People’s Doctor Awards to 67 medical staff and doctors on the 59th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors’ Day in Hanoi on February 27.
The 67 awardees were honored for their great contribution in resident health care at the ceremony hosted by Ministry of Health at Cultural Friendship Palace.
The award is given every two years and is the highest prestige in the health industry.
The country current has 400 People’s Doctors and nearly 7,500 Doctors of Merit.
