The event was held to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the 81st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945–2026), and the 21st anniversary of the All People Protecting National Security Festival (August 19, 2005–2026).
According to a report presented at the festival, Hoai Nhon Bac Ward Police have actively advised the local Party committee and authorities in mobilizing the entire political system and residents to safeguard security and public order.
The ward is implementing measures to become a drug-free locality by 2027 while maintaining the effectiveness of seven community-based security self-management models. Among them, the Security Camera initiative has encouraged residents to contribute hundreds of millions of Vietnamese dong to install more than 80 surveillance cameras along key roads.
Addressing the event, Head of the Central Commission for Information and Education Trinh Van Quyet commended the outstanding achievements of Hoai Nhon Bac Ward and Gia Lai Province in promoting the All People Protecting National Security movement.
He emphasized that, after 21 years, the All People Protecting National Security Festival has become a broad-based political event that has strengthened the people's security posture and reinforced public trust.
He urged Party committees and authorities in Gia Lai to continue effectively implementing the Party's guidelines on promoting the movement, identifying it as a regular and strategic task closely linked to socio-economic development and social welfare.
Head of the Central Commission for Information and Education Trinh Van Quyet also called on officials and Party members to stay closely connected with grassroots communities, understand people's aspirations, and set an example in fulfilling their responsibilities.
He further stressed the need to renew public communication efforts, strengthen grassroots self-governance models, promptly resolve emerging disputes, expand propaganda work on digital platforms, replicate effective initiatives, and enhance coordination among the People's Public Security Force, the Vietnam People's Army, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in maintaining security and public order.
The Head of the Central Commission for Information and Education also proposed that Gia Lai Province consider selecting Hoai Nhon Bac Ward as one of the pilot localities for developing a socialist-model ward in line with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, ensuring the initiative is implemented methodically with tangible outcomes that can be replicated elsewhere. At the same time, he called for building Hoai Nhon Bac into a model ward characterized by strong security and public order, free of drugs, crime, and social evils.
