Saigon Co.op plans to achieve $1.2bln in 2016

Ho Chi Minh City owned retailer Saigon Co.opMart (Saigon Co.op) said its agencies achieved  success last year with revenue of VND 25trillion.

In 2015, Saigon Co.op inaugurated more 8 new suppermarkets in the country, bringing total system chain up to 80.

In 2016, Saigon Co.op set its target to reach revenue of VND 26.786billion (equaivalent to US$ 1.2billion).

Saigon Co.op's chairman said there would be fierce competition this year in Vietnam retail market.
