‘Prudential-Good Essay, Good Writing Contest’ 2011 has come to an end and the organizers announced 14 winners on October 19 in the city-level contest.
Tran Thi Thanh Tam from Binh Chieu secondary school in Thu Duc District won the first prize in the 6th and 7th grade category.
Le Huynh Thanh Thuy of Chu Van An junior high school in District 11 and Hoang Thi Trang Chau Long of Le Anh Xuan secondary school in Tan Phu District won the second and third prizes, respectively.
Organizers awarded three consolation prizes to Nguyen Kim Ngoc of Viet Uc private junior high school in District 10, Phan Nhu Anh of Kim Dong secondary school in District 5 and Cao Le Ngoc Anh of Hoang Hoa Tham secondary school in Tan Binh Dsitrict.
Le Hong Cam Nhung, a 9th grade student of Tan Tao secondary school in Binh Tan District won the first prize in the 8th and 9th grade category.
Nguyen Hoang Thu Trang of Nguyen Du junior high school in District 1 took the second prize.
The third positions belonged to Nguyen Hoang Xuan Chieu of Tran Quoc Toan secondary school in District 9 and Cao Nha Dinh of Binh Tay secondary school in District 6. Xuan Chieu had won the first prize in the 6th and 7th grade category in the contest in 2009.
Three consolation prizes were given to Ho Dac Xuan Minh of Thi Tran 2 secondary school in Cu Chi District, Tran Thanh Ngan of Le Van Tam junior high school in Binh Thanh District and Tran Le Bich Tuyet of Tran Quoc Toan secondary school in District 9.
The winning students were selected from 144 contestants who took part in the city-level contest held Le Quy Don secondary school on October 16.
The awards ceremony of the ‘Prudential-Good Essay, Good Writing Contest’ 2011 will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House on October 30.
