PM requires to clarify trillion dong plant shutdown in Quang Nam

The Prime Minister has required the People’s Committee of the central province of Quang Nam to make clear information about a trillion dong invested soda plant, which has closed down after one year of operation.

On December 15, 2017, Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper published an article saying that Chu Lai Soda Plant has completely shut down after nearly one year coming into operation, leaving hundreds of workers jobless and unpaid.
The plant has been built at VND2.3 trillion (US$101.3 million) in Chu Lai open economic zone.
The PM has required the province to clarify the information and report to him before February 15.
