Party, State leaders commermorate President Ho Chi Minh and martyr heroes

A delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee yesterday visited and laid a wreath with the words "Forever grateful to great President Ho Chi Minh” at President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum in Hanoi on the occasion of the 89th establishment anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930-2019) and welcoming traditional Lunar New Year 2019.

At the solemn atmosphere, the senior leaders commemorated and expressed their deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, a founder and the first leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam who devoted the whole life for the national liberation.

After that, Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong led the delegation to visit and lay wreaths in commemoration at the Heroic Martyrs Monument in Bac Son street and the Mai Dich Heroic Martyrs Cemetery in Hanoi.

On the same day, Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong offered incense to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at House No. 67 in Hanoi and planted a memorial tree at President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site inside Presidential Palace.
