Party Chief attends 80th anniversary of first National Assembly election

On January 6, Party General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, PM Pham Minh Chinh, and NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended a ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnam NA (January 6, 1946–2026).

A delegation led by Party General Secretary To Lam laid a wreath and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum. The delegation included former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; State President Luong Cuong; former State Presidents Nguyen Minh Triet and Truong Tan Sang; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man; former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; and Politburo member and Standing Member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.
