This is an activity in response to the International Day of Older Persons, aiming to take care of one million Vietnamese senior people and patients.
Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Red Cross Society in HCMC appreciated the role of senior people in educating and orienting young generations and backed looking after old people.
Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan from the Medicine University consulted nutritional diets and disease prevention to participants at the ceremony.
In addition to examining and consulting keeping fitness to elderly people, talks about how to prevent osteomalacia, cardiovascular disease, diabetes by teams of medical workers of Vinamilk’s Nutrition Center received good response from old participants.
From 2012 to date, Vinamilk cooperated with elderly people associations and doctors across the country to hold seminars and events on nutrition for 600,000 senior people. This is the fourth event jointly held by Vinamilk and the healthcare center for senior people aged 80 and over.
Vinamilk Director Nguyen Van Quang said that being a leading nutrition company in Vietnam, Vinamilk promises to accompany with activities to take care of the community and senior people. Vinamilk pledged to enhance such activities in cities and provinces through program “ Taking care of one million elderly people and patients in Vietnam”.
