Mexico City has already cooperated with Ho Chi Minh City in various fields of health, technological innovation and tourism, Mexico City Mayor Miguel Angel Mancera emphasized at the reception on September 21 for Vietnamese delegation led by Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City's People Council Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam.
The head of government of Mexico's capital honored Vietnamese people, the country's culture and highly appreciated the comprehensive development of Ho Chi Minh City.
He stressed that the two sides should enhance muti relations and share practices and experiences in respect of socio-economic development, urban management, environmental protection and preservation of cultural heritage.
Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City's People Council Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam thanked the Mayor of Mexico City for the warm welcome. She has officially sent an invitation to Mayor to visit Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City to strengthen the relation and comprehensive cooperation between the two cities.
The Vietnamese delegation had a working session with leaders of Mexico City, visited the Embassy of Vietnam in Mexico City, Mexico National Parks and historical sites.
