The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the investor of Component Project 3 under Phase 1 of the Long Thanh International Airport project, announced that on April 1.
Package 4.12 has a total contract value exceeding VND2.5 trillion (approximately US$95 million) and commenced construction in late June 2025.
To date, contractors have completed 100 percent of subgrade works, including runway foundation soil, sand compaction, and crushed stone base layers, while cement concrete structures have reached 98 percent completion.
The construction site currently mobilizes 755 engineers and workers, along with 153 machines and pieces of equipment. The total value of completed work has reached nearly VND1.1 trillion (US$42 million), with materials stockpiled at the site valued at approximately VND300 billion (US$1.4 million).
