The Department of Child Affairs, Microsoft Vietnam, and ChildFund Vietnam yesterday officially launched the child protection application.
Users can use the web-based information system to report child abuse cases in order to protect children, strengthen the adaptability of children and young people in the community as well as an application to ensure the safety of children on the internet.
Additionally, users can read basic information of children’s rights and education skill to teach children in the information system’s library
So far, for 15 years, the hot line to support children 18001567 has received over 4 million calls. The line has given consultation to 300,000 people and had action to intervene in 5,000 children abuse
Worse, in three recent years, the line received more and more calls about child abuse especially child molestation and violence from the northern region, mountainous areas in the North.
