The special week themed “ Lifelong studying – smart studying to become a good citizen and contribute to the building of a civilized society” will officially take place from Oct 1 to Oct 7, 2019.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the HCMC Department of Education and Training Le Hong Son asked the city districts to strengthen multi-level societal learning steering committees as well as fulfill three requirements including knowing exactly the number of civil servants in different fields for training plan; disseminating information of different forms of education to the unemployed in order that they can earn a stable living; and adding “building a learning society” as a criterion for evaluating competitiveness of institutions.
To accomplish the goals, Mr. Le Hong Son specially noticed to make use of the 4th Industrial Revolution and information technology in organizing learning activities and online learning in order to make it easy for public community in obtaining knowledge.
