According to Director of the HCM City Department of External Relations Le Quang Long, HCM City received more than 110 groups of international visitors and held successfully nearly 50 foreign affairs events, including the 45th anniversaries of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Singapore, Italia, Malaysia, Japan and Canada. Highlight is the HCM City Economic Forum 2018.
Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem highly appreciated the Department’s performance in 2018 and the creative abilities of a whole staff that made outstanding contribution to the city’s development.
Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son hoped the department will continue to play key role in promoting and implementing diplomatic activities.
