A graphic novel is a new genre in the Southeast Asian country designed by writers and artists in the project to support Vietnam- Denmark literature.
Graphic novels are different from traditional books . Author and artists have to work together in idea with this highly visual form of storytelling and sometimes large picture in the story can replace for writing while artists just paint picture to illustrate the story in traditional books.
Artists can use large typography to enhance visual effects.
Three graphic novels were published by Kim Dong are “Co be ganh ti” ( An envious girl) , “ Phia sau Canh cua” ( Behind the door) and “ Ha ve tren doi co lau hong” ( Summer return in pink grass).
