Gloria to resonate at opera house

The brilliant beauty of the country of love, Italy, will come alive during classical rhythms performed by Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) on July 9.

The first half of the night includes the immortal work Messa di Gloria, composed by Italian composer Puccini.

The HBSO choir and orchestra will perform five pieces: Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus and Beneditus, and Agnus Dei.

The HBSO's Vice Director Tran Vuong Thach, who graduated from the Belgian Liege Conservatory of Music’s Symphony Orchestra Conducting Faculty, will conduct.

The second half of the evening will be contemporary dance performed the HBSO dancers. 
 
Tickets cost: Circle - VND200,000 (US$11) and  stalls - VND150,000 ($8).
